what did you say that was flagged?
Keep in mind that all your efforts to create custom GPTs are primarily helping OpenAI, not you. They will care as much about this as Amazon Does about counterfeits.
Even if they try to make a valiant effort, they wonāt spend time on each dispute. They will not want to be a judge, and as others mentioned, it often would be a battle of opinions.
Iād say itās in OpenAIās interest to allow all this to snowball development of custom GPTs.
This is similar to the madness that is happening on the Shopify-platform, where fakers are able to shut down stores with fake claims.
The only ones that I know of that somewhat care about this and have systems in place to combat it is Facebook.
Every platform ever has had this problem.
So either like it or leave it.
If you are able to make any money from it, maybe better then make a custom SAAS instead.
From what I see, you have to actively search the store to find anything anyway.
Meaning: Custom GPTs are āimpossibleā to find, expect for the few people that actually care about searching the GPT store.
The ChatGPT store is not indexed by Google, so users must jump over multiple hoops to find you.
Yeah, itās kind of a āBring Your Own Audienceā type of ecosystem currently.
OpenAI is going in so many directions right now, but Iām guessing they see value in having a Custom GPT āstoreā or marketplace.
Discoverability is going to be an even bigger problem with generative AI getting better all the time.
Yes, definitely a value for them. Less for the creators as they are OpenAIās mercy.
theres great proof of that - they are terrible managing the GPTstore. in every sense of it, unfortunately.
we were hoping they care about people creating GPTs that enhance the functionality of chatGPT but they clearly donāt. The absolute majority of the GPTs are doing basically what ChatGPT can do by itself easily.
Wow, the more I read the crazier the managment is. Loosing your GPT due to ban sucks man
I see what you did there, that was smart!
