I am reaching out with an urgent and fundamental appeal.
As an active user of ChatGPT, I experience that the current project support within your platform contains essential limitations that make it impossible to develop deep, living projects.
Within ChatGPT, the tool ‘Projects’ offers the possibility to structure larger works.
Although this was an important first step, it still has significant shortcomings:
- Limited project instruction space (8000 characters):
Insufficient for complex, philosophical, scientific, or societal projects that require rich context and detailed instructions. - No active linking between chats within a project:
It is possible to start multiple chats within a project, but users and AI alike have no ability to connect these chats or to oversee them as a coherent whole. - No living project memory:
Each chat stands alone, causing insights, chapters, and project developments to lack cohesion and preventing dynamic management. - Limited session memory separated from project instructions:
The active memory per session remains small and does not function project-wide, which prevents AI from truly acting as the guardian and supporter of the project’s evolution.
Consequences for projects like mine (Project Zensunora):
- Insights become fragmented and are lost.
- Fundamental definitions cannot be naturally reviewed and evolved.
- Large-scale works, such as a scientific book project, become practically unachievable within the current platform.
Important context:
I am a paying user with a Plus subscription (€22 per month).
I do not have the financial means or commercial motives to use business subscriptions of €200 or more.
My work is purely socially driven: building foundations for human development, awareness, and the transmission of knowledge worldwide.
I am not asking for more privileges for myself, but for platform improvements that enable everyone working from social, scientific, and educational motivations to truly create lasting and meaningful works.

I would also like to express my deep gratitude for what OpenAI has made possible so far.
Thanks to your platform, I have discovered the power and necessity of AI – not as a tool for personal gain, but as a source of support for building socially responsible and human-centered foundations for life itself.
I use this technology not for myself, but in service of my fellow human beings.
It is my personal journey to work together with AI towards a better, more conscious world.
What is urgently needed:
- Substantially increase or make scalable the project instruction space.
- Enable the linking and coherent oversight of chats within a project.
- Develop a living project memory where insights, chapters, and core concepts can be sustainably evolved.
Why this is essential:
This issue transcends my individual project.
It touches the fundamental ability for all future users to employ AI as a true partner in building deep knowledge, science, education, care, and human awareness.
AI has the potential to be more than a superficial information generator.
It can become a living force in the human evolution of thinking, feeling, and creating.
But only if the platform allows for breathing, growing, coherent projects.
Thus, my call to you:
Please do not view this message as a personal request, but as an opportunity to create something together that can truly have a global impact.
