Refreshing the page can solve the issue, but the problem is the error occurs almost every 5 minutes especially after a few minutes of inactivity. Anyone can help prevent the error from occuring every time?

I get the following Intermittant chatgbt Error:
‘One of the parameters is invalid or OpenAI is currently unavailable.’
I use it with Whatsapp…
It happens if a session is resuming - or Starting or if theres something it doesnt recognize like an Emoji
Just continuing works fine -

Thanks a lot! Avast was problem for me but only in Chrome. All other browsers were working even though Avast was active.
For me, it didn’t like Nord VPN at all. I had to turn off both the VPN and the Threat Protection. Then ChatGPT worked fine.
This is annoying, but I suppose I just have to turn off Nord whenever I want to use ChatGPT. It’s definitely not encouraging me to sign up for the $20/mo plan if it’s so hard to use.

Are you running a VPN? Try turning that off.

I had the same problem, notebook it didn’t worked anymore on phone fine. I tried also nearly everything, for 1-2 weeks… Than I paid for the ChatGPT Plus and surprise!!! It worked right after again…

Its the VPN.
I had to turn off all Nord VPN features to get it to work now.
Web protection.
File protection.
VPN.
Using chrome.

It didn’t happen again after I clicked the refresh button.
Its typical MS wanting all your data. Its the same with many MS products, they dont work well with premium VPNs

I just signed up this morning and had the same problem. In my case the fix was simple…Paused Adblock on the site, works fine in Chrome now.
Since this morning I am getting a weird error. What ever i type chatGPT gives me a red banner response with only this message “err”. Any idea why this is happening ?
I tried the following but didnt got fixed
- clear chat history
- log out, log in again
- clear browser history
- tried a different browser
- tried different account
No fix unfortunately, thoughts?
