I’ve had the same issue as well. Windows 10 OS and tried with both Chrome and Edge. Is it possible being on a Corporate PC is preventing it (They use GlobalProtect VPN)?

Update… I had to disable GlobalProtect VPN and then it worked. However, once reenabled it stopped working again.

started getting this error, tried all other browsers with same error.
I had to disable Meshnet on my VPN and it started working again

Same issue ehre, I tried turning off vpn, meshnet, different browsers etc. it just doesnt work on my windows laptop, but works everywhere else!
Some info from open ai on how to fix this information would be great!

I disabled threat protection from Nord VPN, and it finally worked, whereas but just disabling the VPN didn’t

Nord VPN - not working anymore. So many users, I think. CheatVPN for my iPad with Australian servers works great and fast.

If you’re getting an Error 1020 Access Denied message, that means **the website’s firewall believes your IP address is a threat.
You can try accessing the website from a different browser, adjusting your browser’s settings, restarting your router, or toggling your VPN to fix a 1020 error.
Or connect to a different network with different IP

Refreshing the page can solve the issue, but the problem is the error occurs almost every 5 minutes especially after a few minutes of inactivity. Anyone can help prevent the error from occuring every time?

I get the following Intermittant chatgbt Error:
‘One of the parameters is invalid or OpenAI is currently unavailable.’

I use it with Whatsapp…

It happens if a session is resuming - or Starting or if theres something it doesnt recognize like an Emoji

Just continuing works fine -

Its not Helpful when My client doesnt understand whats happening…

Thanks a lot! Avast was problem for me but only in Chrome. All other browsers were working even though Avast was active.

For me, it didn’t like Nord VPN at all. I had to turn off both the VPN and the Threat Protection. Then ChatGPT worked fine.

This is annoying, but I suppose I just have to turn off Nord whenever I want to use ChatGPT. It’s definitely not encouraging me to sign up for the $20/mo plan if it’s so hard to use.

Are you running a VPN? Try turning that off.

I had the same problem, notebook it didn’t worked anymore on phone fine. I tried also nearly everything, for 1-2 weeks… Than I paid for the ChatGPT Plus and surprise!!! It worked right after again…

Hey guys had this problem for weeks.

Its the VPN.

I had to turn off all Nord VPN features to get it to work now.

Web protection.
File protection.
VPN.

Using chrome.

Hope this helps.

Total joke though. Ready to pay $20 for the year when this is fixed Chat GBT people.
