I have the $200 pro plan and the last few days o1 and o1 pro have been complete garbage. Tried clearing cookies & cache, other devices it’s just junk. They reason then when it gets done there is no output.
Sometimes it says Something went wrong above it on the message I sent, other times it doesn’t. Been very consistent the last few days barley can get a few messages then it happens. Then I have to start a new chat and it happens again.
Pretty much unusable and I end up going to Claude. Like what is the deal? Garbage

Happens sometimes, likely sever side or client errors (or something in between). Also, o3 Mini High is the smartest for openai, and Claude 3.7 reasoning is the smartest globally. Part of the reason it is so difficult to detect if it failed or not is because openai is the most heavy in hiding of raw cot; no one does it so heavily most allow you to see the raw cot. The result is it difficult to see when its failed. Try refreshing the page or login on another browser sometimes you see output there again
It’s not a glitch, the model itself chooses to do that,( I believe) for whatever reason. I encountered it too. The solution was in either the wording or it’s mood. By mood I mean it has some level of recognition for what it wants and does not want to do. It won’t admit that but it is evident.
