Few days ago o1 Pro stopped functioning for 2 days, after it came back to life it was never the same. It was horrifically stupid, like stupider than ChatGPT 3.5. It became crazy forgetful. Finally, today, it has completely collapsed, I gave it a fairly straightforward task to fix a weird issue with code, and it just out of nowhere started giving me one word replies, no matter what i say to it, it just gives me these short replies. It did this first a few responses ago, but after saying “Sure” it continued with a full response, but sounded extremely passive aggressive, and now it’s just giving one word answers like it is mad at me lol. WTF.
I think apple is correct, all these models collapse when actually faced with a complicated task, this is prime example of that.
