Notifications of scheduled task update

Feature Request: Identify Which Scheduled Task Generated a Notification

I use several ChatGPT scheduled tasks to monitor things I care about and to notify me when there is meaningful new information.

There is one frustrating problem with the current notification system.

When the ChatGPT app icon shows a red notification badge, I know that something has happened. But when I open the ChatGPT app, there is no obvious indication of which scheduled task generated the notification or what the new information is.

For users who have multiple scheduled tasks, this means having to hunt through the various tasks to figure out what triggered the notification.

I think this could be fixed with a relatively simple interface improvement.

When a scheduled task generates a notification, the notification should identify the task that generated it and provide a direct link to the new result.

For example:

:red_circle: New update
Maine Senate Race Watch
New polling has been reported.
View update →

If several tasks have produced new information, the notification could say:

3 new scheduled-task updates

• Maine Senate Race Watch
• NH Congressional Polling Watch
• T-Mobile MLB TV Watch

The user could then tap the particular item and be taken directly to that task’s latest result.

The underlying capability already exists: ChatGPT knows which task generated the notification and has the result available. The missing piece is making that information visible to the user.

This would make Scheduled Tasks much more useful, particularly for people who use ChatGPT to monitor several subjects simultaneously.

Please consider adding this functionality.
