# Not automatically increasing my usage limits

Hi everyone,

It has been 7 days since I made my first payment and I certainly spend more than $50. However, I am still subjected to Tier 1 usage limits. My usage limits should have been increased automatically according to the rate limits guide.

Has anyone faced a similar problem recently? I have tried to receive help through the ChatBot, but there hasn’t been any reply yet.

1. the increase in tier is not related to usage, simply the payments into the API.
2. the tier doesn’t seem to be recalculated automatically just because your initial payment is now older than seven days. I would wait until day 9 to be sure, and then give another minimum credit payment to force the recalculation based on the new total you will have paid.

Yes! I just credited a small amount in my account and my tier limit was recalculated. Looks like it didn’t upgrade automatically
