Hey Everyone, first post here. I have a pro account, and keep getting this error message when I try to create a new project “No personal org found for user and none created.” I have no idea what it means or how to resolve it, any help would be greatly appreciated! ---

I am also facing this problem. I am not sure if this is a bug. I have tried logging out and in and it didn’t help. After trying repeatedly, it managed to work somehow after like the 5/6th try ---

Hello there, I was facing the same issue. You need to change the name of your organization. As follow: Go to **[https://platform.openai.com/account/organization](https://platform.openai.com/account/organization)** Change the name of your org Try again creating a new project. I am getting the same error with a Plus account linked to a larger organization. I am able to create a new project, but I cannot add files or instructions. ---

Same issue for me as well! As soon as it tries to save the GPT it displays an error due to it not finding a personal org. I’ve checked in my settings and i have 2 organizations setup. ---

I started having this error on Personal GPTs as well, after setting up `platform.openai.com` This is how I fixed it: 1. I navigated to [https://platform.openai.com/settings/profile/user](https://platform.openai.com/settings/profile/user) 2. Change _Default Organization_ to **Personal** I hope it helps! ---

For some reason a second organization called `Personal` was created in my profile. Switching to the other as the default and recreating the project fixed the issue for me. It’s a bit unintuitive that the ChatGPT API would be so dependent on OpenAI platform settings. ---

Try opening an incognito window to avoid problems with the Cache. Worked for me ---
