I’m a spiritual content creator. For some time now, I’ve been using Dalle and ChatGPT to create awesome images for my social media posts.
Recently, I have ran into some pretty awful images despite using the same prompts as before. I continued as best I could for a while, editing and fixing whatever I could with other software.
Today, I tried generating an image with a state of the Buddha and the cycle of existence around him. Guess what: apparently we can no longer generate ANYTHING that is related to religious symbols or religious figures.
What in the name of PC policing, censorship-loving, Gestapo pit of hell is this? The day has come when Buddhists cannot generate Buddhist imagery because somewhere, someone decided that there may be a possibility that someone MIGHT create an image that others may find offensive. Are we for real? Have we degraded so much as a society that we can no longer afford to skip through content that we don’t find agreeable and we somehow must exist in this eternal state of utter neutrality? Not with safety zones and bars but full-on suppression of our artistic and thinking frameworks?
Whose idea is this and how can we get through to them? Why should we keep paying for a product that increasingly cannot do what it did originally?
