Title basically. The new image generation doesn’t work in temporary chat mode, this is the same problem as not being able to download links created in temporary chat. Because when I tell it to make the image a link for download, it gives an error, and I can’t download.

On ChatGPT that you select from model selector:
In Temporary Chat, any files or images you created, you can’t download them. With Temporary Chat, you can have a conversation with a blank slate. But OpenAI keeps them 30 days. They are still part of the ChatGPT conversation.
Custom GPTs are diffirent:
When you use Custom GPTs in Temporary Chat, like DALL-E or other tools that can be enabled, you can create and download files in different formats like WEBP, PNG, CSV, TXT, Word, PPTX, and XLSX.

Okay but for me even the image generation itself is not working in temporary chat. It generates a blank image.

Yes, it doesn’t work. This is normal for temporary chat
But also I am confused why there is option in toolbox as “Create Image”.
Maybe they are updating to add image generation n temporary chat, or maybe there is a bug.

It’s not normal for a temporary chat. Image generation used to work perfectly in temporary chats. Now it doesn’t. It continually generates grey squares, and inspecting the image shows session errors. Issue persists across models.
