Network Error and "Null" Request Issues on Xperia SO-52C (Android 14)

I am experiencing persistent issues with the ChatGPT app on my Xperia SO-52C running Android 14. Here are the details of the problem:

  • App Behavior: After opening the ChatGPT app, I encounter a “Network Error” message. In addition, the app sometimes displays “Request has an issue (null)” and the chat list does not refresh.

  • Steps to Reproduce:

    1. Open the ChatGPT app.
    2. Wait for the home screen to load.
    3. The app fails to load the chat list and displays “Network Error” or “Request has an issue (null).”
    4. I have tried both Wi-Fi and mobile data (docomo), and the issue persists.
  • Expected Behavior: The app should load the chat list correctly without showing any errors.

  • Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

  • I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app.

  • I have ensured that my device is updated to the latest version of Android 14 and the ChatGPT app.

  • The issue persists despite all these attempts.

  • Model: Xperia SO-52C

  • OS Version: Android 14

  • App Version: Latest available on Google Play

  • Additional Information:

    • The issue has occurred for the past 1-2 weeks.
    • I have verified that other apps on my device are working fine, including streaming and browsing, indicating that the network connection is stable.

I would appreciate any assistance or guidance on how to resolve this issue. Is there any specific setting on Android 14 or Xperia SO-52C that may be causing this?

I have the same error on Samsung S25 Ultra. The chat loads, but I cant use the app at all. Anything I send comes back as "there is a problem with Your request (null)

Same issue on xiaomi redmi note 12 pro HyperOS 1.0.21.0.THGEUXM / android 13 TKQ1.221114.001 same account works fine on the computer. What fixed it for me was : on the app - select log-out doesn’t matter if it doesn’t log-out let it load, on the computer at the same time select multiple times delet all chat history and confirm until it works, it disconnected from the app once the history was deleted, I loged in again on the app and now works, previously I also had deleted the app cache, uninstalled-reinstalled so maybe it also helped but didn’t fix it alone.
