Need help getting GPT-4 turbo model to choose a random book from a list of books in my system prompt

I am using the API with the GPT-4 turbo model to generate short stories for children. I have a system message that has a section like so:

###Examples####
"Goodnight Moon" by Margaret Wise Brown
"The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle
"Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" by Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle
....and many more examples listed...

The problem is that every time the model generates a story, it uses the “Goodnight Moon” example as it’s basis. I can’t seem to get the model to take a random approach and use one of the other random titles on the list. It always goes with “Goodnight Moon”.

Anyone got any advice on how to prompt the model to randomly choose a title from the Examples list?

add a command like - please select the book randomly if you are selecting, good night moon, you’ve selected the first item in the list. Instead, you should search through the entire list and pick a book randomly.

Thanks! It still seems to be stuck in the first 1-2 titles. I’ll play with it some more.
