Please add a native “Always on Top” option to the ChatGPT/Codex Windows desktop app.
This would be especially useful when using Codex alongside VS Code, terminals, browsers, remote servers, or other development tools. Currently this requires third-party utilities such as Microsoft PowerToys.
Ideally, the app could provide:
- An “Always on Top” toggle in the window/menu.
- An optional keyboard shortcut.
- Persistence of the setting between sessions.
- Support for both ChatGPT and Codex windows.
This would make the desktop app much more useful as a persistent coding/AI assistant while working in other applications.
