I use the android app a lot and the read aloud feature mostly as my default option for chatgpt output instead of just reading the text.
The read a loud button or link is positioned in such a way that I regularly hit the buttons next to it accidentally. This has been a regular occurrence.
This is a major problem for me and a ui/ux problem.
Either move it out on it’s own or fix it in a way that makes it hard to hit the other buttons. I keep hitting the share button accidentally and sometimes the one on the other side. This is a huge pain.
Also make available an option to toggle that just automatically reads the output so I don’t have to do anything at all. Android app specifically.
I opt-out of sharing my content but accidentally hitting share or thumbs options automatically puts my content into training. I accidentally hit those buttons unintentionally because of the poor location of the read aloud button.
I don’t usually use the auto speech voice mode because it is a different model and any delay it thinks I am done talking and responds. The advanced speech mode is useless to me due to the time and message limits.
I have Plus tier subscription.
Mostly the annoyance is hitting everything not the read aloud button and having to go into the website to remove the darned share links to what I just accidentally shared.
