Many users do not need a full jump from Plus to Pro, but would gladly pay for focused add-ons matching their workflow. For example, writers need long-context text work, project memory, story bible management, version comparison, consistency checks, editing tools and export options, but may not need image generation or business agents. Students need school-focused learning tools, step-by-step explanations and study modes. Visual creators need stronger image and design tools. Modular add-ons would make ChatGPT more affordable, more targeted and potentially more efficient in resource allocation.
