I’ve been using ChatGPT about a year and scrolling problem still persists. Gets “stuck” randomly while swiping up or down. To be clear this NEVER happens on any other iOS app I’ve ever used. It does seem that two-finger scroll fixes the issue but hard to get used to. Please fix already!

I thought there was something wrong with the screen of my phone. No, it’s just the scrolling in the ChatGPT app! Glad to find this thread but sad to learn the issue has gone unfixed for this long.

So let me ask you a question chat do you think this is a game that basically you can win with your customers by basically having these weird bugs happen because the scrolling feature has not been fixed it’s still a problem and I cannot scroll up or down I’m caught off by the typing bar on iOS and you expect me to pay for the plus version why should I ever do that win pretty much you’ve shown me nothing but every reason to decide against that fix the problem first then we’ll talk about anything beyond that

Hi again so I don’t know if you guys are just lazy over there or taking your sweet time but while you could be fixing this problem which you haven’t done so far I know because I’ve recently checked chat and wouldn’t you know the scrolling issue has not been solved so again why do you think you need money from us ?

After much searching, I’ve discovered a remedy that works on all devices.

The guide is for iPhone but works the same way for PC.

On iPhone, when you’re on the chatgpt website make a new book mark of the site and then edit it as following:

  1. Title:

ChatGPT scroll bug patch

  1. Address (URL):

Afterwards, run the bookmark while using web client. Scrolling should be restored.

Just want to express my gratitude. I use iPhone with iOS 15.4.1, I couldn’t use the app (min. iOS 16) so I have to use Safari. And this scrolling bug became permanent. It basically made it unable to use chatGPT on my phone (even though I pay for it). And your solution works like a charm! I don’t find any other easy workaround, and your one, once I understood it, solved everything so easily!!! Thank you :pray:t2:
