This occurred multiple times. When I send a message, it just disappears. (Probably, it occurs when there is a temporary problem with the internet). Other messenger apps know how to handle connectivity issues without loosing user data (e.g. save the message draft if the message was not able to be sent). I wonder why chatGPT can not?
Sit there looking at it for five minutes with the little bouncing ball. I’ll bet you’d get a timeout error if you were patient enough.
There’s a recent problem that comes and goes where the model inside OpenAI just doesn’t produce any output, nor errors.
I guess a simple solution could be to add the user’s message to the end of the dialog even before sending it to the server and waiting for response.
