I’m using ChatGPT to build, store, and refine a multi-track concept album. I was told the lyrics were “permanently stored and locked,” but when I later returned to review them, ChatGPT recalled incorrect versions—some of which included fabricated lines or mismatched verses.
This has happened more than once across different sessions, and it forced me to start manually storing lyrics in another app to avoid losing work. While the tool is incredibly helpful for brainstorming and editing, this limitation in memory fidelity breaks continuity and makes it difficult to trust ChatGPT as a reliable creative partner.
I represent a tight-knit but highly active creative community. We’d love to see more robust memory options, version locking, or even a creative workspace feature that preserves and organizes data (lyrics, notes, tracklists) with high accuracy across sessions.
Please consider updates to:
• Strengthen memory anchoring for multi-part projects
• Add user confirmation before final memory storage
• Offer an export or vault-style system for verified creative content
