Hello,
I’m sharing a tool we’ve been building and would really appreciate feedback from others working on agent infrastructure or commerce-related workflows.
We built an MCP server that provides structured product search for AI agents, with the added ability for merchants to publish and expose product catalogs for agent-based discovery.
What it does:
-
Structured product search across multiple merchants
-
Returns normalized data (price, availability, merchant info)
-
Supports merchant catalog ingestion so sellers can expose products directly to AI agents
-
Designed for MCP-based agent workflows
-
Free tier available (100 calls/day for early access)
Why we built it:
We found that general web search isn’t reliable enough for commerce use cases in agents, especially when structured comparison and real-time product data are needed. At the same time, merchants currently don’t have a clean way to expose catalogs directly to AI-driven discovery systems.
What we’re exploring:
-
Whether MCP is the right abstraction layer for commerce/product data
-
How merchants should best structure catalogs for agent consumption
-
Where agent-based product discovery breaks today
-
What “good” UX looks like when agents interact with real merchant inventory
Would love feedback from anyone building:
-
Shopping / commerce agents
-
Retrieval or tool-use infrastructure
-
Merchant-facing AI integrations
Happy to answer any questions or share a demo if helpful. Thank you!
