MCP details save failed: No app id found

I’m unable to submit an app to new Apps marketplace. One the second step (MCP) it says “MCP details save failed: No app id found.” without any details.

I don’t even see any requests in server logs. The same URL works fine when creating custom app from ChatGPT settings.

Any ideas?

Getting the same issue… anyone found a solution to this yet / anyone know if this is a bug or intentional breaking change?

I could pass this step using the following hack:

  1. Close the tab
  2. Go to https://platform.openai.com/apps-manage
  3. Select the “Edit” option for your app
  4. Input the same MCP url

Not sure that it works always, but in my case it worked)
