I would like to share a passion project which I developed on my own and now in its 3rd iteration. This is my exploration of creating a use case to challenge myself, to benefit educators, learners or just anyone.
Introducing Algebraic Equation GPT4
This web application is a dedicated GPT that takes in a Mathematics equation, provides a solution AND a walk-through of the solving process. Though solvers have been around for some time now, they typically take input with the use of an equation editing palette. In contrast, Algebraic Equation GPT4 is multi-modal and aims to simplify the input process.
Users can snap a picture of the equation using their learning device and send it to an LLM for solving and explanation.
Leveraging on the capability of Whisper and the possibility of natural language input, Algebraic Equation GPT4 is designed to be an alternative to the existing, providing a breath of fresh air to the way we use solvers.
