Dear OpenAI Support Team,
I have been using ChatGPT for 2+ years now and when I first started using it I would create many new chats as I was experimenting. At the time I didn’t consider deleting them and they just piled up. Which hasn’t bothered me until recently because now I get mixed up with old and new chats. But now I use the application daily and would like my experience to be more organized. I think adding a feature that allowed users to easily go through and select 5-100 chats and mass delete all of them with one or two clicks would be great for people who don’t regularly delete chats. Or making deleting a little easier; example: On apple notes you slide the note or folder you want to delete to the left of your screen and then confirm delete, after that it sends the note to a “recently deleted folder” just in case you accidentally delted the wrong note. On the topic of folders I was thinking about how much nicer it would be to be able to add chats to folders, like for me I use the program for business a lot but also investing and writing. I have a lot of chats for all three of those catigories that can get mixed up with each other, this issue could be solved if I had a “Business Chats” , “Investing Chats”, and “Writing Chats Folder”. In the end though the entire Hub and loyout has definitely imporved since a year and two years go along with the AI itself with things like memorization, constomization of speech, and many other things. Overall the user interface is really friendly and easy to navigate.
Cheers,
Carter Currie
