Hello everyone. Has anyone discovered the bug when you minimize the ChatGPT app and it throttling your dock and dock becomes unresponsive? Steps to reproduce: 1. Open Chatgpt 2. Open Activity Monitor 3. Minimize ChatGPT 4. Watch Dock CPU usage ---

Yes - I have the same issue, and there are a few Reddit pages talking about this issue. It has been unresolved for a few versions, so not everyone seems to be experiencing it. It makes the app unusable for me. The Dock becomes unresponsive, I can switch apps. I have to quit both the main app window and the shortcut bar app, and the dock becomes responsive again. ---

Same issue here, fastest way for me to let it working again is quickly go to the apple icon go to Force Quit and reopen but would love to see a fix in the future ---

Same issue. MacBook Pro M1 Pro, OS X 15.3.2 (24D81). When minimising the ChatGPT App window, CPU becomes overloaded by Dock (70-80% of CPU). Thinking about going back to the web version. ---

occured to me today, without having interacted with chatgpt at all today. It suddenly popped “out of app memory” dialog on macos, chatgpt consumed 41GB ---

By the time I receive the message about app memory exhaustion on my Mac, the ChatGPT app is over 200GB and all of my apps have been paused. “Resuming” doesn’t seem to work - I have to force-kill everything (not just ChatGPT - _all_ of the apps) to recover the system. This doesn’t seem like a viable “solution”, nor does it seem reasonable to have my “AI Assistant” offline except when I need it in short bursts. ---
