Lost Critical ChatGPT Pro Data

Hi everyone,

I’m facing a serious issue where I’ve lost all of my ChatGPT Pro chat history, which included critical work documents like onboarding and workflow materials. This happened after I had to switch countries in my Google account (from Australia to South Africa). I was assured by Google that this wouldn’t affect my data, but it wiped everything. It seems like this has also affected my ChatGPT history, and I’m now unable to recover any of my previous chats.

I’ve already reached out to support, but so far, no luck in getting my data back.

Here’s what I’ve tried:
Reinstalling the app, clearing cache/data
Switching networks (Wi-Fi and mobile)
Multiple browsers and incognito mode
Checking if anything was saved in my exported chats (nothing there)
Is there any way to recover this lost data?
Any help from the community or staff would be hugely appreciated—this data is vital for my work, and I really need to know if there’s a way to retrieve it.

The same thing has happened to me with a Plus account twice recently and I didn’t make any changes to location, device or brower. Reached out to support numerous times and it seems Sam is too busy spending his billions on new models and a new tech centre. Not happy at all at the lack of support for such a critical issue as user data security.
