Same problem with both the iOS and macOS apps in the UK.
This solution does not help me. I wonât install and use a Free VPN especially when I donât know or trust the parent company. How can you ensure malware isnât on your systems? Seems very stupid to give it access and let them learn everything about you.

Where is the thread from representatives at OpenAI? Surely, they will have seen this thread and be able to provide some explanation as to what is going on? Silence is not good - even if there is no apparent solution on the horizon, i would prefer OpenAI to engage with us and let us know what they knowâŚItâs frustrating when customers report things and hear nothing back and have to try to work things out for themselvesâŚ

I know, right? I completely agree. Whatâs the point of having this forum if no representative is going to show up? A simple âWe are aware of the problem and are working to solve itâ would at least calm us down. That said, the problem was solved for me this morning. At least the developers are working⌠

Did you do anything to get the app working, or did it just resolve itself?
I didnât do anything. I just tried to log in one more time, and now I can access my account through macOS desktop or the iOS app.

same here, login working again now in the app, no change on my side, to me it looks like they fixed it

I use paid VPN for years and i have a lifetime subscription. You need to use the VPN only for logging in, then you turn it off. You will stay logged. VPN is necessary only to bypass the login, because it is somehow not allowing you when your IP is in europe
They have fixed it, it seems. I raised a support ticket and got a response on 6 Sep.
