I’d like a camera button inside dot voice calls so I can show dot what I’m looking at and discuss it in real time.
The current photo attachment option means stopping to take and send individual pictures. I want to turn on my phone camera once, point it at something, and keep talking while dot sees the live feed.
This would help with troubleshooting devices, understanding app screens, and getting hands-free guidance. Optional screen sharing would also be useful.
It should include:
- Front/rear camera switching
- A clear camera-on indicator and immediate stop button
- An option for dot to comment on what it sees without waiting for a question
- Clear privacy controls and usage limits
Can OpenAI add this directly to dot calls, or provide a supported way for a user-built camera app to supply the live feed?
