I guess its their bug or they are updating something. It will be back soon . Lets hope for the best. and they need to put proper message. I went and cancelled Chat GPT subscription :sweat_smile: . They said it will be operational even if its high demand for plus customers. IDK what they doing now

i wouldn’t be surprised if this is just the way its going to be from now on. how much server space do they have? how much will they need? they are gonna need a lot of money

Thats why we are paying for them. I was expecting more for plus users. and if they users really want chat gpt so bad. they will pay even more price to get chatgpt. openAI need to look into it

Hope it’s just a niggle, it would be a disaster if it restricted 24 hours usage

yes, I understand, but I don’t think its enough at the moment. what I mean is, I don’t think they have the server space to give paying users unlimited chats, on top of free users. they are probably bottlenecking and having constant threats from hackers no doubt. in the near future, I can see what you propose becoming more of a reality but not right now

Only used a few messages and got the error “You’ve reached our limit of messages per 24 hours. Please try again later.
The question is, what am I paying $20 for?

My whole family is premium user, and we ALL are “banned” for 24h. This is a joke.

Okay, seems now both 4 and 3.5 started to work as normal again.

I can place a guess of what this is:

Yesterday, to resolve unforeseen problems and allow for system maintenance, they had to limit incoming connections.

What OpenAI did was to turn on a system telling everyone they were banned.

Needless to say, that had negative reaction.

So they likely changed a parameter on this other system that was already in place, that gives a less negative answer, after actually allowing some use.

When do you maintain a system or implement a bigger repair of prior issues? How about at midnight California time, 3am Eastern?

Same. No updates? Started to try to resume a GPT 4 paid session I started yesterday.

Same here, and certainly no very high usage as Plus user.
