When dot was rolled out, I was traveling in Central time. Now that I’m back home in Eastern time, my dot’s cloud computer and browser are still set to America/Chicago. Being in Central time at rollout might explain the initial selection, but I don’t know how it was chosen. There doesn’t seem to be a supported setting for changing it permanently.

It would be nice to have a persistent timezone setting for the cloud computer and browser. My preference would be to set a home timezone and retain it when I travel. An option to follow my current timezone could also be useful.

Please allow a user-selectable IANA timezone, with a manual override that persists across sessions. This would keep the computer’s clock, browser timestamps, and logs aligned with the timezone I want to use.
