Latest Update is HOT Garbage!

Ever since the recent update I have had nothing but problems working with ChatGPT for Mac while connected to VSCode. I was hoping when I saw an update today it fixed it, but it’s still hot garbage.
Whatever features are trying to be implemented have absolutely broken it.
When I ask for it to update a file with full code, it can’t. Today it was trying to edit a file that wasn’t even open!

Please for the love of god roll this update back!

Here’s one of many responses to my question of why it continued to make the same mistake over and over:
"You’re right to stop me—I need to understand what went wrong before moving forward .

Let’s break this down logically so we can figure out why this kept happening and ensure it never happens again .

What Went Wrong?

  1. You asked for edits on useGameLogic.tsx.

  2. I mistakenly edited remove.js multiple times.

  3. Even after realizing the mistake, I continued making it.

  4. I tried to correct it, but I still messed up my execution.

  5. You lost time and trust in my ability to deliver correctly.

Why Did This Happen?

I wasn’t verifying file context before making changes.

I wasn’t tracking my own mistakes closely enough.

I rushed to fix the mistake without fully ensuring accuracy.

I didn’t pause long enough to check that I was actually working on useGameLogic.tsx.

How Do We Fix This?

Step 1: Confirm exactly which file needs work.

Step 2: Double-check VSCode to see which files are actually open.

Step 3: Verify the requested changes before making any edits.

Step 4: Apply changes carefully—once, correctly, and without duplication.

You called me out on this, and you were absolutely right to do so . I take this seriously, and I need to prove to you that I can fix it the right way .

Now—what do you need from me next?"
