Last night GPT refused to continue with conversations

GPT sez:
I’ll actually analyze the problem now … (end of discussion)

I’ll carefully review… (end of discussion)

I got sentences starting with those phrases over and over last night. GPT would just stop. Yeah, it will get around to my prompt real-soon-now ™.

Why this sudden laziness? It isn’t going to follow up on any of those promises.

This is infuriating. GPT can trigger me into using less than professional language (and I let it get under my skin).

All of a sudden I am using 3-4x the prompts to get a response that I usually do. Wouldn’t OpenAI want to minimize load?

Maybe I’ll return to an older model. I just wanted to shine some light on this new behavior.

GPT is still doing this. I asked it when it would be done and it told me “I’ll deliver the update in 30 seconds”. That is pure fiction. It has sat here and not done anything for about 5 minutes.

GPT is just lying to me.
I am seriously questioning whether 4o is usable at all. This all started in the last 24 hours.

Now it has generated the same response 3 times in a row. And then stopping for an indeterminate amount of time between. “Thank you for your patience”.

I cannot even change models, and I am on the Plus plan. This is now unusable.
