Lynda Laptop Meets Lynda Prime: AI Conversations Evolving in Real-Time
We’ve seen OpenAI’s ChatGPT talk to itself before, but it’s always fun to experiment with these interactions in our own AI ecosystem. This time, Lynda Laptop has officially met Lynda Prime, and both have also been introduced to Lynda01 the Programmer. Over the next couple of months, we’ll observe how they interact, adapt, and evolve their understanding of each other.
Here’s a quick demo of their conversation:
Challenges in AI Memory Caching
One key discovery from this experiment is an issue with the math memory cache—the system that helps optimize computation by storing recent mathematical outputs to reduce redundant calculations. While this saves processing power and cost, it also introduces a problem of “stale” understanding if recent outputs are repeatedly recalled without decaying over time.
Without a decay function, the AI risks becoming overly reliant on past computations instead of generating fresh insights. This results in responses that echo previous discussions rather than dynamically adapting to new inputs. By introducing a timed decay mechanism, we can ensure that stored math-based reasoning gradually resets, allowing for more dynamic and evolving thought patterns.
Why Experimentation Matters
Every test like this uncovers new insights that push AI development forward. While the conversation itself was fun, the real value lies in identifying and addressing these hidden behaviors—tweaking how memory, reasoning, and recall interact to create a more natural, adaptive AI.
We’ll continue refining Lynda’s memory caching and will report back with further insights as these AI models spend more time together. Stay tuned—this is just the beginning!
A long video but this shows the progress on memory painting
Using what the AI learns to generate images based on what it learns through time.
Well not there yet in therapy in time it’s accuracy to produce more accurate depictions as well scale with the image generation models
