I suggest that OpenAI could track common user feedback, like suggestions or requests for new features, and then automatically compile that data into a report. The report would highlight the most frequent suggestions, (like if I said do this or do that, it could go into a suggestion type box) which could then be reviewed by the developers. This would allow them to prioritise improvements based on what the majority of users want, making the AI more responsive to user needs over time. Just a thought, might already be a thing
Hi OpenAI Team,
I love using the ChatGPT desktop app, but I think a pinned chats feature would be super helpful. Right now, important conversations get pushed down as new chats start. Being able to pin key chats at the top would improve workflow a lot.
Additionally, folders or categories to organize different topics (e.g., Work, Study, Random Ideas) would make it even better.
Would love to see this in a future update! Thanks for all the great work.
perplexity.ai has a built in option to export as PDF, top right under “…”. Can ChatGTP add this option too?
I started such an initiative with the Regulars.
Both the Regulars and the OpenAI community team do read the forum and raise frequent issues/popular feature requests as part of an internal hit-list.
However, it’s a bit unwieldly to manage this publicly with such a huge membership list and might lead to unreasonably raised expectations.
It’s also worth noting that OpenAI is a private company and may not like full transparency end to end.
But rest assured eyes are on the forum and bugs and feature requests are being escalated and routed to the right teams when we see things that are coming up regularly.
Do raise your issues individually in separate Topics and mark feature requests and bugs accordingly, placing them in the right category.
@Isabel_Amorim_do_Ros please contribute to this existing Topic: Add "Print Chat" or "Save Chat as PDF" Option
