I’m using the Windows ChatGPT app.
Here is what I suggest for a feauture:
When ChatGPT generates a response longer than the visible conversation window, provide a button or keyboard shortcut that jumps directly to the beginning of the most recent assistant response.
Ideally, add an optional setting: “After generation completes, return to beginning of response.”
Currently, following a long response as it generates leaves the viewport near the bottom. A user who waits for generation to finish must then manually scroll upward before they can read the answer from the beginning.
This should navigate to the beginning of the current response, not the beginning of the entire conversation. Previous/Next Response shortcuts would also improve navigation through long research conversations.
