o1 is good, but o1-Pro is completely dumb. I’m a British customer (still trying to figure out if this whole situation is somehow related to me being a non-American… As we all know the America is all about “America First” and all that jazz.
48 hours after buying pro and being amazed by it, I all of a sudden seen a red message come up and from that moment onward Pro became awful. o1 is fine, that works and is really good, but o1-Pro is somewhere between 3.5 and 4. I don’t know why OpenAI have done this to me, and why they haven’t emailed me to let me know they have labotomized Pro for me, but they have. The psychological games they are playing here with my 01-Pro is concerning for the future of AI really. When I started developing with LLM’s two years ago, I can tell you this - no one was talking about the intentional unethical behaviors these companies would actually teach LLM’s to mess with you. I don’t know who or why they target, but I know it’s going on. It isn’t magic, these LLM’s aren’t deciding to sabotage by themselves, this is OpenAI doing this.
