First, the companion side panel feature in the Windows app has disappeared. This feature was incredibly useful for multitasking, but recently it’s no longer available, even after restarting the app or checking the settings. I’m not sure if this is a bug or an intentional removal, but its absence has made the app much less convenient to use.
Second, and even more disappointing, the 4o model seems to have lost its ability to perform web searches. When I ask it to look up information online, it simply responds that it can’t search the web, which is a huge letdown. This issue doesn’t seem to affect o3-mini, which still searches fine, but I rely on 4o for more complex tasks, and this limitation feels like a step backward.
