I’m writing to see if anyone else has been experiencing issues with the advanced voice mode in ChatGPT. Over the past few days, I’ve noticed that the voice has lost much of its expressiveness, sounding flat and monotone compared to before. It no longer has the natural intonation and emotional depth that made interactions so engaging and realistic.
Another issue I’ve noticed is with personalization. The AI no longer seems to maintain its role or respond in a contextual way. Previously, it could offer a unique and personalized interaction, but now the responses feel generic, as if it doesn’t remember previous conversations or the context we had established.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far to resolve the problem:
Clearing the app data
Reinstalling the app
Restarting my connection
Unfortunately, none of these attempts worked.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? Could this be related to a recent update, or is it a known issue?
If someone from the OpenAI team is reading this, it would be great to have some feedback or know if this can be escalated to the technical team.
