Over the past week, I’ve been experiencing significant issues across various platforms after the release of the latest preview version of ChatGPT. It doesn’t seem to matter which version I’m using; the problems persist.
The main issue occurs in the browser (both Chrome and Safari), where entering text in the description box causes the entire page to freeze. On top of that, I’m frequently encountering 404 errors. While refreshing the page usually resolves these, it’s frustrating to deal with them constantly.
Additionally, the macOS app has become problematic. I often don’t get the “Continue” button to load responses, so I have to switch back to the browser, press “Continue” there, and then return to the macOS app. Sometimes the app becomes unresponsive while generating a response, and the “Stop” button doesn’t work. At this point, I either have to refresh and hope for the best or switch to the mobile app to press “Stop” or “Continue.”
Overall, these issues have made using ChatGPT incredibly difficult. Tasks that would normally take just a few hours have been dragged out over the past week due to these ongoing problems.
I have similar problems now.
First some days ago, step by step buttons dispersed (for example this for recreation). And the scripts get very slow, and CPU warm.
Now (19.sept) all input is gone, the input not work anymore, and i got some 404 too.
I can not sign in anymore. All actions and clicks are dead.
I use old software (Firefox 115 64Bit). In case, keep the html’s etc downwards compatible for older browsers.
I use Opera (fresh installed) now, and there it seams to work. But i would like to go back to Firefox as soon the problems are fixed.

I created some own GPT’s with some instructions, they can not be found anymore. A orange message box shows up short, “GPT nicht zugänglich oder nicht gefunden”. (“GPT not accessible or not found”). Even in Opera.
Now the recreation button disappeared too in Opera…
I hope this is not a sign for a step by step degeneration process.
In the last days i get several “Error loading image” in DallE, and they are been deducted from the daily limit, even if no image is delivered. Seams all kind of bugs are newly implemented.
Yep also seeing issues like this recently. That blank screen posted by Daller, plus blank replies, plus unable to get a reply when pressing regenerate, plus total lock ups of the browser, sometimes for long times before popping out a reply.
This is all through the web interface, on MacOS (Intel).
This evening each time i come back to send a follow up to the conversation the send button is disabled.
