Hi there, I’ve been loving your ChatRPG Isekai RPG, it is currently been taken down I assume? What happened? Will it come back? or maybe in the future when it came online in some other form where should we get the information?
Do anyone alse here have the same problem as me?, i was playing as normal yesterday without problems but when i returned from work and wanted to resume my gameplay from where i left it chatgpt said it couldn’t find the existence of this chat gpt or that i needed to request permissions to use it (like if it was deleted out of existence), i still have my latest gameplay saved in the list to return and play again but the moment intry any command it says what i explained before
Yeah i noticed that too today It looks like It was banned by Open AI . The description of Austin other game states that It was banned , It’s curious , hopefully Austin could get some information on It and which policy It violated..
that’s sad man, i found this chatgpt to be great, it adapts things you said to them nicely and noted few errors and even if something was done wrong you could just said what was wrong and the AI adapted to that to make it not happen again

Yes, I was watching on here to see an update. I tried using ChatGPT to see if it could say why it was banned, which I now remember it has old data and so probably wouldn’t be able to, but it did a web search and suggested:
“it’s possible that the game’s complex mechanics, including the memory system and dynamic storytelling, may have inadvertently triggered OpenAI’s content moderation filters. Such systems can sometimes misinterpret complex content as violating policies, even if no harmful material is present.”
Yes, please do raise a case with OpenAI asking them what it violated so that you can address it, so that they see you would address it though when they look into it I am sure they will find there is actually nothing to address … Also let us know how we can help and complain to OpenAI.
Edit: 5th June. Good news, it seems to be working again and also you can continue your old chats. OpenAI must have realised their mistake

Also have just found out about GPT-4.1 and how it has a 1 million token context, but unfortunately that is only for APIs. There is though GPT-4.1-mini which I have just seen in ChatGPT and I believe that also has a 1 million context window, so I am going to give that a go. Not sure if there is a way that you can set GPTs to use a mini version.
I was roleplaying with chatgpt yesterday but it’s terrible. So I found you with an easy google search. You know, I’m already obsessed with the game. You wrote very well, thank you, bro. The only problem is that I don’t have chatgpt plus.

Another idea for you Austin, if you haven’t already ready Mother of Learning (available on Royal Road but I am unable to provide a link) I think you will like it and also it might be another idea for one of you ChatRPGs or to implement in your existing one (time loop not necessarily the world).
@GojoSatoru yes that looks about right, though ChatGPT can sometimes implement it a little differently.

I want to say, I LOVE Vantiel and so do my little sisters! You did an incredible job of making an addictive RPG engine and i’ve been playing it not stop (my guilty pleasure is asking Maledictus to judge me instead during the prologue)
Thank you for the love, passion and ingenuity you pour into the project. if you ever do wind up making your own paid website I’ll be the first to throw money at the wall for it lol. I lose my runs to memory errors but tbf thats because i go over a day straight into them.
Hey there~ just found your GPTs and they are amazing. I did try the Isekai and SL one and must say its amazing will play with it more and more.
Did looked myself into making RP GPTs for myself to play with i also did test something with the API and Database but give up.. yours are more inspire me to try again.. would it be possible to.. toss me the link to the GPT to create md files? Also would be nice to get a look into the MD files for the Isekais.. to get a more hang into it if possible.

Wow. I Play and DM since about 30 years and this AI Isekai is on par with the best Gamemasters I know. As long as you play a Paladin Type. No control magic, no kisses allowed, nobody gets the girl….it even starts rewriting scenes or offers that strongl if you dislike or hate NPCs and tell it that as “toughts”.
i just wanted to say thanks for creating this game,it’s fun to play,even if it’s limited because i’m using the free version of chat gpt,it’s still good to play and then take a break till limit is off so i can play before work and after work because of the limit,i find the game intereting because it’s a game to play and at the same time it’s a book too,playing and reading your fantasy adventure,so i really enjoy this type of game,i hope i could see this type of rpg game using ai in pc rpg video games in 10 years ,i always thought if they could make an rpg game that have ai npc could give a better inmersion when you play,but well i hope in 10 years or more they could make video games like this,anyway good game
Earlier this year I started to try and create a Gem myself (Google Gemini’s version of a GPT), and then stopped. When GPT-5 came out I tried Isekai RPG again however the further decrease in the Context Window just made it worse. But rekindled me trying to make a Gem. After lots of work I have fine-tuned it (working generally fine for me but a friend has just started playing and things don’t seem right to me in their game, but they are enjoying it - so might tweak a little further). After getting it mostly working I have also integrated elements of your two “core” files.
I started off just asking Gemini to help me make a prompt for a game and started giving it details. Played it, added further details, played, added, played, fine-tuned, … etc. Got to around 8 pages. Looking at your files as example I then split into 3 .md and 1 .json file, and again played and fine-tuned a bit further. After adapting and then integrating your two “core” files I have then also updated my .md files with Table of Contents and even one or two mermaid diagrams. I think the “core” files have helped improve the narrative a little further.
Unfortunately I do not think I can get your Solo Levelling to work as a Gem since it only accepts 10 files (though actually I am not really using standard Gemini now, so there might be a work-around). I have also discovered an online database that is free and linked to people’s Google accounts, which you may be able to use as I know you mentioned about looking at storing Stats, and such.
The world I have built is similar to Solo Levelling but everyone can gain Levels, increase their Stats, gain Skills, etc. (plus a little more which is similar to some other LitRPGs rather than Solo Levelling but that is to be discovered after you have played for a while).
I have been fooling around with this for a couple days now myself. I have to admit that it has been quite fun. Though the memory issue is still a thing. I have started to summarize and save each day as I go. I don’t know if this was made for slow adventures though. None the less. With me saving things and then reminding ChatGPT. It has been well enough.
I once had an idea of mixing a MUD Core with AI. The MUD Core would be responsible for the Data since it does not change, it just saves. It could record Stats, skills, items, Abilities, Town Mapping, NPC’s, and all that jazz. Then the AI would just have to look at the Character information and where the character is to decide what to do from there. Just the idea of course. Use it if it helps.

I played 5 minutes of this and was hooked before I got limited by the free plan for ChatGPT. I wish I could give you the money rather than them. I’m already in love from my limited experience and am already addicted. ;u; Keep up the good work
