Is it possible to use plugins with chat history is disabled?

Hi,
I noticed that if my chat history is disabled, then I have no option to use the chatgpt plugins.
even if I turn something on before, when history is disabled then it is not enabled any more.
Is this something known? is there a way to work around this?

They use the data generated when users use beta features as beta testing to refine and improve these features until they are good and stable enough for a general release. The chat history disabling feature is primary to comply with European data retention policies, that users must be able to opt out of data collection. Consider the blocking that Italy did on these grounds.

It is logical to extrapolate that plugins can’t conform to these restrictions in the present state - the data to be processed is being sent to a third party.
