I accidentally deleted some chats in ChatGPT that included images I had uploaded or generated using the image tools. I assumed that since these images also appeared in the “library,” they would be stored independently of the chat threads. However, it now seems they were permanently deleted along with the conversations.
Is there any way to recover these images, or are they completely unrecoverable once a chat is deleted?
Is there no hidden trash folder with a set amount of time to recover?
