Is GPT-4 Legacy performing better than GPT-4o? 💬

I have a subscription and most of the time I use Custom GPTs, but today I hit the limit and tried to complete the same tasks with GPT-4, and it was so hard. I feel tired working with it… :face_exhaling:

I had to use 3 times more prompts, and exponentially more if the problem become more complex. (when I say 3 times, I’m trying to be nice)

Now I look at the GPT-4 Legacy model and think, “Please don’t go! You are what I need, and I hope you don’t become like your younger siblings.” :laughing:

If we compare the consumption → using 5-6 prompts vs. 2 prompts with high attention ← what could be better?

Agreed. The newest iteration is terrible compare to Legacy 4. It can’t resolve issues that were a breeze in the past.

I prefer chatgpt 4 over chatgpt 4o. It gives more nuanced and interesting reeponses. 4o is too formulaic. That said, 4’s quality has dramatically dropped today.
