IOS App: Editing a message results into a new one being send

Hello there,

I‘ve downloaded the app from the apple store because of the current ongoing issue with the web application‘s editing button.

However, I am just not able to edit a message. Every time I try to edit one, it just sends it as a new message instead.

It’s completely messing up the chat flow because now I have the old message with its response right above the new message. And the new response is getting influenced by the old answer.

Anyone else facing that issue?

This has been ongoing for months on the app tbh. I don’t think it’s in regards to the recent issue. I used to have to check and resent like 2/3 times for it to work.

Thanks for replying. Good to know it’s been happening for longer.

I‘ve tried the app a few months ago and deleted it because I couldn’t navigate between the responses and messages.

Now I just wanted to see if editing might work there. But apparently, it’s an issue everywhere, just in different ways.
