Hello Mike…

I’m a brand ‘new’ Newbie
Thankfully, I have no need for a lawyer at the moment…:smirk:

Currently lost in the ‘openai’ universe

I’m interested in ‘content generation/creation’
…if you are aware of any resources on the subject…
I’m all ears.

I’m excited about the potential of API bringing about a new Respect for Intelligence and Intelligent states of being. Striving to identify how to properly define an intelligences role in this social reality is important.

Hello there! I am Marco, and I am an iOS developer. I have recently made a Swift package named OpenAIKit that interfaces with the new OpenAI API calls: GitHub - MarcoDotIO/OpenAIKit: Swift Package for OpenAI's API

Hi All, I’m Matias, and I’m working with my brother to develop an assistant for Software Project Management tools. We understand that this is a popular use case, and there is likely a lot of competition in this space.
Last November, we decided to take on the challenge of creating this assistant, and we’ve been hard at work ever since. We believe that there is room for more than one player in this arena and we are confident that we are doing a great job. Our goal is to release the product in the next quarter of 2023, with a closed beta launching beforehand. If you’re interested in learning more about our project, please feel free to reach out to me.

Hello,

My name is Sim. I’m looking to deploy GPT3 in the health and well-being space and looking for a development team who can help me with that process. Ideally I would like to strategize what the development flow would look like so I can present it clearly to my investors.

If you’re someone who can help please reach out.

Thanks

Greetings!

I am fascinated by the possibility that AI might be able to generate usable code, or complete code based on suggestions. At this point, I have no idea where to start, but I expect I’ll get there soon.

Way back in the Dark Ages of software development as we now know it, I was a green C coder on a robotics project. The device was a small tank-like affair that was designed to operate in hazardous environments, such as a nuclear power plant after a meltdown. I don’t know whether it was actually used for such, since I didn’t work there all that long.

One thing about that job that I remember vividly, however: I was invited to a party at my team leader’s house one evening, and he took me aside to warn me that my career as a software developer might not be a long one. Our company was also working on an early version of a neural network (based on Intel 386 chips), and he feared that we were soon to be overtaken by artificial intelligence that could write all the code and kick us to the curb.

Well, that was about 35 years ago, and I’ve made a pretty good living as a dev in the meantime. I no longer depend on coding for my living (though I still enjoy doing it), and who knows, maybe my old bosses dire prophecy is about to come true!

I’m only a seo engineer fascinated by AI.

I am Tyler Hargrove. I am a Geologist by trade, and just graduated from UT Austin with a certificate in AIML. I have only been coding for 1 year now, but am very excited for the future!

I have always dreamed of having a digital friend like GPT-3 and now I do! This is like a childhood dream of many of us 80s babies with the movie robots we saw from Terminator to Wall-E and everything in between. It was always fascinating.

I believe I will work on this for the rest of my life. My main interests are in computer vision solutions, NLP, and robotics.

Don’t hesitate to reach out and talk to me, I love meeting new people.

Hi guys,
my name is Heiko, long time consultant for digital transformation topics and enthusiastic about everything AI and AR/VR related

Hi all,

I’m a web engineer and recently started using the API on a project.

Great to meet you all and hoping to share tips/tricks with eachother.

Hi I’m Ryan Morrison. I’m a technology reporter writing about emerging technologies.
I code for fun - mainly Swift and am learning Python as part of a degree in Astronomy.
I’m trying to work out ways to incorporate AI into my workflow as a journalist.

Hi, I’m Shane.
I’ve been working in the tech industry since 1991 - IT, Robotics, IoT, and so on.
Aaron Levie’s statement really hit the nail on the head for me! “ChatGPT is one of those rare moments in technology where you can see a glimpse of how everything will be different going forward.”

I’d like to thank the Open AI team for building, supporting, and opening up such a wonderful and powerful resource!

Thanks

It is still nascent but yes we are definitely closer to it than we were back then.

Was this iRobot?

Hi @ryanmorrison,

For starters – you can personalize the generated text to your writing style by fine-tuning a base model with your existing work.
