Congrats on the first place, Sebastian!

Hi to everyone, I’m Lily, I placed 3rd on the codex challenge and I’m also very excited to be joining this community. I’m currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, and am really looking forward to playing around with the API and learning from others here.

Hey @Andrew, the fact that you work in ā€œcreative applicationsā€ caught very much my attention, and I have some questions: what do you do when working? What did you studied (did you go into university or self taught)? And for what position did you applied in the OpenAI jobs?

(Srry my English, its not my main language)

Congrats where can I see what you built?

I work on a variety of things like creating internal demos, providing input on models, creating examples, documentation, etc… I generally try to be useful wherever I can.

I got my start as a developer by creating a lot of different examples for GPT3, writing prompts and sharing them. I also created GPTtools.com to help developers learn about Semantic Search and other capabilities.

Hello, my name is Michael, I’m from Australia, and I don’t know anything about coding!
I use Matterport 3D virtual tour software and camera, and am hoping to use codex to make some adjustments to the API that would make my product a lot better, and the software more functional

Open AI helped with this paragraph:
I used to do some game development with Unity. I’m very interested in the 3d printing community, I bought a 3d printer a few years ago and it’s fun to print some stuff I can’t find in stores. I like to make concepts, and if I like something I keep working on it.

Absolutely. Brighter than most imagine. A prospectus for long-form completions I recently finished copy editing a 420 page manuscript ā€œwrittenā€ by AI. Quite an interesting experience. The tl;dr is that it was surprisingly similar to editing a book by a typical human author!

Hey Everyone, I’m Sheeraz. I’m in data analytics/governance in the banking industry. Looking to build SaaS soon leveraging GPT-3 and Codex.

Would love to brainstorm ideas or feel free to drop me a line if you need feedback on use cases covering banking and capital markets.

Hi Taraz, I think you are creating an exciting system that focuses on people instead of immediate profits. Language is the single most vital asset we all possess regardless of our status and professional background. So, I would love to learn more about your personalization technology and how you came up with the idea.

Hi Torsten,
Thank you for reaching out.
Yes, I believe building learning (especially, language learning) around a learner, based on their needs, interests and aptitudes is the correct way to go. The time of ā€˜one-size-fits-all’ is passing (and not only in language learning).
The idea came to me quite naturally, as I was a language teacher for 12 years, and then I did my PhD in computational linguistics. So my idea is to use AI to build an individual learning path around texts that are relevant to a learner, that motivate them to learn a language. We’re building a system that automatically tracks a learner performance and generates assignments based in his/her learning history (learning outputs).
If you wish, we could schedule a call and talk about learning personalization, I could also show what we have so far.

Sounds very interesting. Yes, I would love to schedule a call with you today, ideally via Google Meet for next Monday or Wednesday?

Next Monday is a better option for me. Do you have any particular time slots available? I’m pretty flexible on Monday.
