Internal Knowledge connector stuck on “syncing” for 2 weeks – anyone actually got it working on ChatGPT Team?

Hi all,

I enabled the Internal Knowledge → Google Drive connector in my Team workspace 14 days ago and it still hasn’t flipped over to usable.

What I see

  • Connector status: Connected
We’ve started syncing this source. It isn’t yet available in ChatGPT, but we’re working on it! Depending on the size of your organization, the full sync may take up to a few days.

Questions
If you did, how long did it take after “Connected” before results appeared?

Thanks in advance for any pointers!

Hi - thanks for reporting! Would you mind DM me your account email for your Team workspace so we could look into this?

Do you mind send me a DM, with the Workspace ID and Organization ID? You can get them by click on “Manage Workspace” → Settings, after you login as the workspace admin.

Thanks everyone—especially @raymond-oai—for the quick support.
The connector is now working and I can successfully retrieve files from Google Drive.
I’ll mark this thread as solved. :folded_hands:

I have been having a similar problem connecting to Team Workspace with the Google Connector. It says the workspace is connected, but it’s not working. Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Hi @raymond-oai similar issue over here - ChatGPT Drive Connector shows “Connected” but the “Internal Knowledge” button is not clickable…

@raymond-oai
I too am having this issue. Everything is setup from what it looks on my side. I see the option with in the “Internal Knowledge” button below the chat input but it’s not allowing me to select it.

@RSWES - Were you able to find a solution?

Nope. Still nothing happening.

@raymond-oai can you weigh in here?

Can you all share a screenshot from this page: Settings → Connected Apps → Internal Knowledge?

It would be helpful if you could share your Organization ID & Workspace ID by going to Manage Workspace → Settings as the workspace admin (or DM me this)

@raymond-oai I have confirmed our Google API configuration outside of ChatGPT through PostMan and also a python program. I am able to see the impersonated account’s files and pull them. I don’t have any indication of errors on the ChatGPT interface other than it says it is connected. However, I am still unable to access the test files we placed on Google Drive.

@raymond-oai, thank you for your response! Please find attached the requested screenshot. I’ll DM you the additional requested info. Thanks again!

I can’t DM you on this Forum. Can you please share another way (email) to share IDs with you.

@RSWES I have enabled the option to send DMs for you.

@vb @raymond-oai Here is the view from the other page as well

Thanks everyone! Can you please check if you are using different email domains in your ChatGPT Team accounts and that of the Google Workplace, and if you picked the “admin managed” option when setting Internal Knowledge up?

I am using the “admin managed” option and the domain for ChatGPT is “remindermedia. com” and in google its “remindermedia. net” which is due to the .com domain being used for another business purpose
