I am not sure if this is the place, but I had to place this somewhere. I installed Atlas and decided to search for a topic that I know everything about because I authored it. What came back was 25% accurate and 75% complete, hallucination.
From what I understand, this is what Atlas is:
”The purpose of OpenAI’s Atlas browser is to reimagine web interaction by integrating ChatGPT and “agentic” AI directly into a web browser. Unlike traditional browsers that act as passive windows to the web, Atlas is designed to actively assist users by completing tasks, remembering context, and automating routine online activities. “
Perhaps I am using it wrong? But after that, I immediately deleted it.
Was I wrong to search for something in a supposed web browser? I could not believe what it spat out.
