Dear ChatGPT Team,
My name is Lam (you may also call me Yukie).
First of all, I would like to sincerely thank you for creating such an exceptional product. To someone like me, it feels like something out of a science fiction film – truly remarkable.
I am writing to seek clarification regarding a specific clause in your Terms & Conditions – namely the policy that allows the use of user data to improve the quality of the product. I would appreciate your insights on the following questions:
- Does ChatGPT classify user data into different types? For example, into data that is useful versus not useful?
- If a user’s data is considered “useful,” is there any further categorization? And is the original user ever notified or informed of this in any way?
- As a user (or, more precisely, a customer) who has contributed substantial intellectual input and high-quality content to the system, what do I receive in return? What acknowledgment, compensation, or recognition – if any – is extended to contributors of this nature?
If possible, I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to communicate directly via email, rather than through multiple public channels that often lead to prolonged uncertainty.
Kind regards,
