Thank you for taking the time to try the prompt yourself
You have confirmed what I was able to do as well. If I stop using the current conversation with the GPT and start a new one, the “restrictions” are much less as stringent as previously stated. This does bring up a thought though, Does the AI create more censorship based on the entirety of a conversation as well as the individual prompt? It looks like some others have been successful with creating the desire results by either having a new conversation or working with the language to describe the request.
Thank you everyone for taking the time engage in this conversation.
I was able to finish my personal project by doing the following:
- Starting a fresh conversation
- Making sure to avoid using specific language that may “trigger” the AI to not create my illustration
Pretty simple, yet the issue remains that the generation of “certain things” will not be allowed. I do agree that some things should not be allowed, specifically those that our culture and society deem harmful. Key words being OUR CULTURE and SOCIETY. So yes, this is an world wide, digital citizen issue. And as stated from the cost analysis “The “cost” of inappropriate censorship is the potential stifling of creativity, educational hindrance, and reduced engagement”
Thank you again for everyone who responded and offered suggestions to this issue.
