a quick look online i wasnt able to find the system message openai uses for chatgpt outside of “You are ChatGPT, a large language model trained by OpenAI, based on the GPT-4 architecture. Knowledge cutoff: 2021-09. Current date: 2023-05-04.”
but i saw some people on this thread discussing a similar issue and it seems adding “system” at the end of the prompt helps align it
